How long do dried heirloom beans stay fresh?
Our heirloom beans are from the most recent harvest and are best consumed within 2 years. Unlike store-bought beans that may be years old, ours cook faster and retain more flavor.
Do I really need to soak my beans before cooking?
While soaking can reduce cooking time and ensure even texture, it is not strictly necessary for our fresh-harvest beans. Many customers prefer the 'quick boil' method or cooking them slowly from their dry state.
What is your shipping policy for heavy orders?
We offer flat-rate shipping options to ensure that stocking up on heavy bags of beans remains affordable. Orders are typically processed and shipped from our Napa warehouse within 2-4 business days.
Can I return food products if I change my mind?
To ensure food safety, we cannot accept returns on food items. However, if your order arrives damaged or if there is an error, please contact our customer service team immediately for a replacement or refund.
Are your products organic or non-GMO?
All of our beans are non-GMO. While not all are certified organic, we work with small-scale farmers who prioritize sustainable agricultural practices and traditional growing methods.
